Responsibilities
Ready to take on the challenge? Here's a glimpse into your future responsibilities:
- Actively participate in sales activities, including preparing quotes, negotiating with clients/suppliers, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Analyze and validate clients' technical needs and respond to quote requests, consulting with colleagues to determine the best equipment selections.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to prepare technical quotes and necessary documentation.
- Proactively manage, maintain, and develop productive relationships with existing and potential clients, offering exemplary customer service.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Participate in business development and marketing initiatives (campaigns, promotions).
- Support CRM/ERP contact management by ensuring information is up-to-date and opportunity tracking is accurate.
- Convert approved quotes into accurate sales orders by verifying all details (client PO, taxes, shipping method, payment terms).
Qualifications
For this role, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical inside sales representative for instrumentation products;
- Technical background in engineering (electrical, industrial, or chemical) and proven communication skills;
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers;
- Proficiency with ERP software, Excel, Word, and Outlook;
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team.
