Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of established industrial accounts, acting as a technical consultant for water treatment processes.
Conduct regular on-site sampling and testing of boiler water, cooling systems, and wastewater to ensure peak performance.
Identify and sell new applications and specialty chemical solutions within existing accounts to improve client ROI.
Partner with Field Service Reps to monitor site conditions and prevent corrosion, fouling, or system downtime.
Communicate technical value to plant managers, engineers, and operations teams.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Engineering OR an Advanced Technical Diploma (e.g., Chemical Engineering Technologist).
Experience: 3–7+ years of technical sales or field service in Industrial Water Treatment.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with boiler/cooling tower chemistry, wastewater treatment, and specialty chemicals (flocculants/coagulants).
Soft Skills: Strong relationship-building skills; ability to pivot from the plant floor to the boardroom.
Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
