Position: Technical Support Specialist – Glazing Products
Our client, a recognized leader in the distribution of architectural hardware, is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist for its Glazing Division. Reporting to the Glazing Product Manager, the selected candidate will play a key role in analyzing architectural project requests, providing technical support, managing technical documentation, and contributing to the development of training programs and tools.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of glazing and architectural components, excellent technical interpretation skills, and experience in quoting and product recommendation. This role requires attention to detail, autonomy, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication. Bilingualism is required for effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Work Shift: Day shift
Location: Ville St-Laurent (hybrid work possible, depending on policy)
Salary: Starting at $65,000, depending on experience
Duration: Permanent
Important: Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and already reside in the province of Quebec.

Responsibilities
• Analyze quote requests for architectural projects
• Identify suitable glazing products (stock or special order)
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance in product recommendations
• Provide technical drawings, spec sheets, and glass fabrication details as needed
• Respond to technical inquiries from clients and the sales team
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing and product support
• Identify gaps in product offerings and propose improvements
• Create and maintain a technical documentation library (CAD drawings, templates, installation guides)
• Contribute to the development of training programs and reference materials
Qualifications
• Diploma in architectural technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in technical support or architectural product quoting
• Proficient with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Strong communication skills, customer service mindset, and documentation abilities
• Bilingual (French/English) – written and spoken
• Analytical thinking, autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
