I'm looking for a bilingual on-the-road technician to provide technical support for equipment in a company specializing in printing. The person will be a resource for customers and sales representatives. He/she will be responsible for repairing, preparing and maintaining various equipment, while ensuring that customer satisfaction levels are maintained in line with company standards.

Responsibilities
As an on-the-road technician, your work day consists of:
Planning the day: Checking e-mails, validating priorities with the dispatcher, and preparing the parts and tools required for the planned interventions.
Pre-trip preparation: Understand the problem to be solved, respect the customer's safety standards, and make sure you have the required equipment in the vehicle.
On-site intervention: Diagnose, repair, clean machines, ensure installation compliance and maintain cleanliness.
Follow-up and documentation: Complete service reports, validate customer satisfaction, communicate with dispatcher, and update information via digital tools.
Administrative tasks and support: File reports, record travel expenses, provide telephone support, and perform any other tasks requested by superior.
Qualifications
Here are a few characteristics that would make you an on-the-road technician to consider for this role:
Language skills and training: Bilingualism essential (French and English), professional/college training and knowledge of printing are assets.
Technical skills: Computer literate, Internet savvy, basic math skills.
Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills, listening skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
Personal management: Good organization, autonomy and ability to manage time and schedule effectively.
Manual skills: Ability to dismantle/reassemble equipment and manually move loads.
