Responsibilities
Enterprise Infrastructure & Pipelines: Design and deploy robust enterprise data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to consolidate data from fragmented networks.
Advanced Analytics Modeling: Build comprehensive Power BI dashboards, advanced data analytics models, and automated reporting systems to support high-level operational decision-making.
Process Automation: Develop customized Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to modernize business operations and process execution across cross-functional units.
AI & NLP Implementation: Lead the architectural design and rollout of custom Copilot Studio features, integrating natural language processing (NLP) and workflows with core business systems to enhance organizational productivity.
Digital Collaboration Services: Design and manage secure SharePoint Online digital service portals, enforcing strict metadata/tagging frameworks, permission-based collaboration, and advanced document management systems.
Governance & Compliance: Establish data governance protocols, audit platform usage, and enforce policy compliance to support scalable, sustainable software adoption.
Training & Change Enablement: Deliver structured technical training and change management support for SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Fabric, and Copilot Studio to promote organization-wide digital literacy.
Qualifications
Core Experience Baseline: Minimum 10 years of dedicated professional experience performing the requirements of a Technology Architect (Level 3).
Defense & Public Sector Expertise: * Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 10 years providing technology architect services within the Canadian Armed Forces, National Defence, Allied Military Forces (NATO), or other Canadian federal departments.At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years building, creating, or site-managing multi-version SharePoint/SharePoint Online architectures within a public sector or defense environment.
Large-Scale Data Architecture: Minimum 2 years of experience developing enterprise solutions integrating SAP and Power BI (Premium) as a reporting platform supporting a footprint of at least 100K users and 500K+ page views.
Technical Asset Criteria (Scored):Deep architectural experience utilizing SharePoint and SAP BOBI as data repositories within a military or federal department.
Proven mastery over advanced SharePoint capabilities, including Content Types, Metadata/Tagging, Permission Controls, Site Collection Migration, and Low-Code platforms.Advanced Professional Certifications (Assets): Holding active certifications from the following list is highly advantageous:MS-900 (M365 Fundamentals), SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity), AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), PL-900 (Power Platform Fundamentals)AIIM SharePoint Specialist, MCTS SharePoint, or MS SharePoint MasterCertificate of Master Data Management of Taxonomy
