Responsibilities
Testing Strategy & Blueprinting: Define, document, and manage the master test strategy and low-level test plans covering functional, system integration testing (SIT), performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
Agile Stream Management: Coordinate day-to-day testing operations across multiple digital product pipelines, assigning tasks, establishing priorities, and monitoring execution velocity.
CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Align and embed digital testing suites directly into automated continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Defect Triage & Governance: Lead the defect management lifecycle, collaborating with development, architecture, and vendor teams to ensure software anomalies are accurately reproduced, prioritized, and resolved.
Requirements Translation: Analyze functional, technical, and non-functional requirements to write comprehensive test scenarios, risk-based validation plans, and positive/negative manual and automated scripts.
Multi-Shore Coordination: Align testing activities and resource allocations between onsite, near-shore, and off-shore testing teams to optimize delivery cycles.
Resource Coaching & Leadership: Directly supervise, mentor, and coach an integrated team of system testers, setting performance baselines and reviewing test evidence for quality standards.
Environment & Test Data Provisioning: Assist in configuring, managing, and maintaining isolated test environments and realistic, compliant test data pools.
Release Readiness & Sign-Off: Provide critical test coverage telemetry, progress metrics, and defect reports to project managers and executive leaders to support go/no-go release decisions.
Qualifications
Test Leadership Seniority: 5 to 8 years of progressive professional experience leading business application and software testing streams within enterprise environments.
ALM Tool Stack Mastery: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience orchestrating test cases, runs, and defect workflows using HP ALM and/or Micro Focus Octane (Strictly Required).
Agile Framework Specialization: 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience leading quality assurance pipelines within mature Agile/Scrum environments (Strictly Required).
Multi-Platform Digital Testing: 5 to 8 years of verified experience directing quality gates for complex digital projects, including native mobile apps (iOS & Android), eCommerce engines, and RESTful API integrations (Strictly Required).
DevOps Pipeline Literacy: Proven practical experience integrating digital test plans with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms, specifically Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Chef/Puppet, and cloud hosting environments (Strictly Required).
Methodological Depth: Expert background analyzing functional and non-functional specifications to design exhaustive risk-based test frameworks, test schedules, and QA budgets.
