Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Monitoring & Incident Management%
Monitor enterprise systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure using monitoring tools and dashboards.
Detect, log, and triage incidents, alerts, and service disruptions.
Perform initial troubleshooting and information gathering and resolve issues within defined scope and authority.
Escalate incidents to appropriate technical teams following established procedures.
Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation.
Operations & Support%
Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine operational tasks.
Perform system health checks, backups, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Support change management activities, including monitoring during and after changes.
Communication & Coordination%
Communicate incident status, outages, and resolutions to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with internal Digital Service teams during incidents.
Participate in major incident calls and post-incident reviews
Documentation & Reporting%
Maintain accurate incident records, provide input for runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Identify recurring issues and contribute to problem management and root cause analysis.
Cross-Team Collaboration%
Continuous Improvement%
Help shape improvements to support channels, digital workplace resources, and overall technology experience.
Recommend improvements to monitoring, processes, and operational workflows.
Stay current with new technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to IT operations.
Governance, Compliance & Audit Support
Ensure ITIL processes align with governance, audit, and security requirements.%
Provide input for accurate documentation for audit trails, service reviews, and knowledge artifacts.
Support data-quality standards in knowledge and incident records to meet compliance expectations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 Years experience working in in IT operations, NOC, service desk, or technical support roles.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is an asset.
