Responsibilities
Your Role: The Behind-the-Scenes Expert for Our Field Teams
Within a dynamic, fast-growing SME of 25 employees, you will be the technical pillar of the tool department. You will ensure the maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and small combustion engine equipment.

Specifically, your daily responsibilities as a Small Engine Mechanic / Recreational & Hydraulic Equipment Mechanic will consist of:

Targeted Diagnostics & Repair: Replacing dried-out or worn O-rings and seals to eliminate air leaks and restore full power to the tools.

Vane Motor Maintenance: Inspecting and replacing composite vanes in internal pneumatic motors worn down by dust or lack of oil.

Heavy Mechanical Repair on Small Components: Overhauling impact mechanisms (anvils, hammers) worn out or cracked by mechanical stress.

Cleaning & Calibration: Servicing intake valves and trigger springs clogged by impurities from the air systems.

Equipment Preparation: Preparing gear for road mechanics working on major railway projects.

Qualifications
Candidate Profile: Resourcefulness Over Diplomas
There is no specific school program for maintaining this type of tool: all technical training is fully provided in-house! We are looking for a hands-on, curious, and problem-solving individual.

Practical experience as a small engine mechanic, recreational & hydraulic equipment mechanic, automotive mechanic, industrial mechanic, ATV/snowmobile repairer, or a background growing up on a farm with strong mechanical logic.

Ability to perform methodical diagnostics on hydraulic, pneumatic, or small 2-stroke/4-stroke engines.

Good customer service, motivation to help the department grow, and interest in team coaching (an asset).

Traditional industrial mechanics are welcome if they enjoy meticulous work on small tools.
