Responsibilities
- Conceive and conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to translate insights into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design and deliver mockups and high-fidelity prototypes, iterating designs efficiently based on user testing and stakeholder feedback.
- Work within a balanced team (Product Owners, Developers, and fellow Designers) using Agile (Scrum) methodologies to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Create GUI designs for various platforms, including web and mobile applications, ensuring a deep focus on responsive and mobile-first design.
- Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching and sketching experiences, and leading meetings to present design ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
- Lead usability testing activities, including the creation of interview scripts, topic maps, and research findings reports.
- Implement established design systems and follow Service Design frameworks to maintain consistency across all digital products.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience participating in complex projects of various sizes within an Agile environment.
- Extensive experience in UX best practices, mobile-first design, and responsive web design.
- Mastery of Figma is required. Expertise in UX software such as JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, and Zeplin.
- Proven track record of conducting user research and usability testing to produce synthesis reports and findings.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design; certifications in Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing are considered a plus.
- Strong presentation and mediation skills with the ability to clearly communicate design processes to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JS (React, Angular, NodeJS) or Azure DevOps is an asset.
