The role of Varnish Technician is essential to our client's manufacturing process, where precision and finish quality are paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring the aesthetic appeal and protection of high-end furniture components. This position will allow you to apply your specialized skills in surface treatment and lacquer mixing.
Regarding language requirements, a functional knowledge of French is required. While bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset in a manufacturing environment, the ability to communicate effectively with the team and technical mastery are the top priorities for this role in Laval.

Responsibilities
Executing high-quality lacquering of furniture components.
Precisely treating and coating wood, metal, and plastics.
Applying various spray painting and lacquering techniques.
Preparing and mixing paints and lacquers according to formulas and specifications.
Operating relevant tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Performing preparatory work, including masking and sanding.
Executing lacquer polishing corrections and necessary touch-ups.
Ensuring meticulous maintenance and cleaning of the workstation and finishing equipment.
Qualifications
Mastery of spray lacquering and varnishing techniques (pressure-fed finishing).
Ability to prepare and mix products (paints, lacquers, varnishes).
In-depth knowledge of treating and coating various materials (wood, metal, plastic).
Exceptional manual dexterity and a strong eye for detail regarding finishes.
Autonomy and rigor in executing production tasks.
Problem-solving skills to correct surface defects.
