Responsibilities
Safely and proficiently operate a Walkie Stacker and other material handling equipment within a fast-paced, high-volume distribution centre.
Execute the efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, ensuring proper organization and strategic inventory placement.
Contribute to precise inventory control by accurately tracking material movements and supporting verification tasks as required.
Uphold a high standard of warehouse organization, consistently maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to regulatory compliance by strictly adhering to all provincial health and safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications
A minimum of six months of recent, verifiable experience in the operation of a Walkie Stacker or BT Stacker forklift is required.
Demonstrated proficiency and a proven track record of success working within a high-volume, fast-paced logistics or distribution centre environment.
Must possess a valid, externally issued forklift license that includes a specific certification for the Walkie Stacker machine.
The physical capability to safely and consistently perform manual material handling, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
A strong professional commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety, operational accuracy, and collaborative teamwork.
