Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
Industry: Food and Beverage Distribution
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: Full-time Contract position with potential to become permanent for the right candidate!
Advantages
- $20 - $23/hr wages
- Monday - Friday, regular office hours
- Experience in a growing industry
- Potential for permanent placement depending on performance
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse paperwork, including inbound documents, shipping manifests, and Bills of Lading.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, couriers (e.g., FedEx), and clients, both over the phone and in person.
- Schedule and coordinate drivers for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, including FDA documentation, is complete and accurate before a truck leaves the facility.
- Verify and process all paperwork for incoming deliveries.
- Provide a high level of customer service, handling inquiries with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure a seamless workflow, assisting with tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform basic reception duties, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls and emails.
- Occasionally go to the shipping area to assist with documentation or verify loads.
- Maintain and modify Excel templates for data sorting and basic reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (sorting, basic formulas, and modifying templates).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable and professional on the phone.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
- A team player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues in the warehouse.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
