Responsibilities
-Receive and inspect all incoming materials from manufacturing facilities and vendors, verifying against manifests and reporting any discrepancies.
-Safely and accurately place materials in their correct bin locations.
-Photograph and report all defective materials to the supervisor.
-Operate a table saw to cut oversized laminate to fulfill pending orders.
-Read, interpret, process, and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
-Perform total skid counts for outgoing loads.
-Assist customers with their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
-Operate a propane counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
-Utilize computer systems to check and manage inventory.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-Proven experience operating a propane counterbalance forklift.
-Proficient in basic computer skills for inventory management.
-Ability to learn and master specific packing and material handling techniques.
-Quick learner with the ability to understand and follow directions, and work independently.
-Able to read and understand customer orders accurately.
-Experience operating a table saw.
-Ability to enter data at an acceptable speed.
-Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
