Responsibilities
Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
Processing: Sort, count, tag, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Organization: Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe working environment by properly stacking, storing, and securing materials.
Inventory Control: Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure high standards of accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker or in a similar logistics/shipping role is a plus.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (e.g., up to 50 lbs or more).
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and computer skills (data entry, familiarity with WMS or inventory software).
