About the Role
In this Warehouse Coordinator position, you will be the core link between carriers, customer service, and warehouse personnel. Working within our manufacturing & logistics division, you will manage both inbound and outbound activities to ensure all materials, supplies, and products are seamlessly processed. This role features a steady, rewarding continental shift schedule running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, allowing for excellent work-life balance with predictable days off. The competitive starting pay rate for this position is $28.00/hr.
Because this position is based in Brantford, Ontario, the operational language of the facility is English. Excellent communication skills in English are required to effectively coordinate with local truck drivers, log shipping schedules, and collaborate with internal warehouse management teams.

Responsibilities
• Print pick sheets and efficiently distribute copies to the warehouse department.
• Schedule carriers for freight pick up and obtain precise freight rates for quotes.
• Process inbound and outbound loads using the TMC Portal and JDE shipping/receiving screens.
• Process critical bills of lading, packing lists, and prepare export documentation when required.
• Review the daily shipping schedule and proactively update changes to prevent logistical delays.
• Act as the primary liaison between carriers, customer service, and facility warehouse personnel.
• Communicate all customer or carrier issues, including stock discrepancies, late appointments, or trailer defects.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping office and work area in compliance with plant goals.
• Adhere strictly to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and safety compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate outstanding daily attendance and punctuality to support continuous manufacturing & logistics workflows.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent educational certification.
• Valid, verifiable forklift operator certification with practical experience.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, utilize computer workstations, and safely climb on/off a forklift up to 6 times per hour.
• Physical capacity to work on a production floor using required PPE (Safety Shoes, Safety Eyewear, Hi-Viz Vest, Hearing Protection).
• Acute hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to facility alarms, warnings, and forklift horns.
• Absolute commitment to excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
• Thorough operational knowledge of freight classes, LTL (Less-Than-Truckload), and T/L (Truckload) shipping metrics.
• Strong computer literacy with proven proficiency in JDE, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and specialized logistics portals.
• Certified proficiency in operating a forklift, backed by a successfully passed written test and evaluation.
• Knowledge of product incoming inspection requirements to ensure high-quality material control.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to interact professionally across departments.
• Exceptional time management and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
