Responsibilities
- Restock picking bins, assembly channels, and pack stations with product lines, packaging supplies, and display materials.
- Unpack, sort, and organize incoming inventory by product codes, categories, and bin locations.
- Monitor stock levels across aisles to keep order fulfillment moving without delays.
- Safely maneuver product throughout the facility using hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, and utility carts.
- Perform visual checks to ensure SKU numbers and product labels match restock orders.
- Report damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to line supervisors.
- Maintain clean, hazard-free aisles and staging areas.
Qualifications
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and stay active (walking, bending, standing) for an 8-hour shift.
- Safety First: Possession of CSA-approved safety footwear (steel-toed shoes/boots).
- Communication: Functional English verbal and written skills to read inventory sheets, pick tags, and follow safety protocols.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable transportation to meet an 8:00 AM start time in Brantford.
- Asset Experience: Background in general labor, stock replenishment, warehouse order picking, or shipping/receiving is a plus, but a great attitude is key!
