Responsibilities
General Warehouse & Material Handling (70%): Manual order picking using paper pick slips (75% of order fulfillment), packing, wrapping skids, strapping pallets, and operating pallet jacks or skill saws as needed.
Forklift Operation (30%): Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to move, stack, and stage materials across the warehouse.
Shipping & Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, utilizing RF scanners for roughly 25% of digital tracking tasks.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain inventory accuracy, keep workstations organized, and adhere to all facility health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Licensing: Valid, externally issued Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Licenses.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on warehouse and forklift operating experience.
Workplace Skills: Strong communication, basic computer literacy, and high accuracy when picking orders manually from paper lists.
Physical Demands & Gear: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; must provide own CSA-approved safety shoes.
Independence: Strong ability to stay focused, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
