Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking & Assembly: Assemble outbound food product orders accurately using RF Guns and paper pick sheets.
Forklift Operations: Safely operate Crown Reach Trucks (high double-deep racks), Sit-Down Counterbalance forklifts, and Power Pallet Jacks (Ride-on).
Shipping & Receiving: Offload inbound shipments, count freight, inspect product/packaging integrity, and load outbound trailers.
Cold Storage Maintenance: Monitor product and reefer temperatures, ensuring adherence to strict food safety (HACCP / CFIA) and cleanliness standards.
Inventory Control: Assist with inventory checks, cycle counts, and proper product placement.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
Forklift Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience operating a Crown Reach Truck (high double-deep experience preferred) and Sit-Down Counterbalance / Power Pallet Jack.
Certification: Valid forklift certification preferred (expired or in-house certifications accepted—we will re-certify you!).
Environment: Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated freezer environment (ranging from 1°C to -23°C / 34°F to -10°F).
Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs periodically for hand-piling.
Technology: Prior experience operating RF scanners/guns.
Transportation: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for this shift.
Equipment Required: Must provide your own CSA-approved Steel-Toe safety boots and warm under-layers/beanie.

Training Week (Days): Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (First 1–2 weeks).
Permanent Shift (Nights): Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM.
