Responsibilities
- Guide and support a dedicated team of 25 to 30 warehouse personnel during critical afternoon outbound loading
- Manage daily inventory movements, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and communicate delays promptly to transportation teams.
- Utilize the advanced atlas WMS to maintain meticulous stock tracking, review system performance, and generate operational evaluation reports.
- Approve bi-weekly payroll requirements and carefully track employee hours and timecards within the digital UKG platform.
- Enforce rigorous safety practices, lead routine workplace inspections, and investigate incidents in compliance with strict occupational health guidelines.
Qualifications
- You possess a minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing personnel at a supervisory level within a dedicated food logistics or high-volume distribution environment.
- You hold valid Forklift Certification – Counterbalance and High Reach, alongside certified training in WHMIS, HACCP
- You demonstrate a solid understanding of supply chain workflows
- You have excellent communication abilities and the physical capacity to adapt to varying temperatures ranging down to cold storage climates in Etobicoke.
- You are fully authorized to work in Canada, capable of passing a criminal background check, and possess strong computer skills
