Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Pay: $20/hr
Hours: 11:30 AM to 8 PM
Days: Mondy to Friday
Overtime: Rarely
Location: Richmond Hill/Markham (near 404 and 16th)
Temporary 2 week vacation coverage

Responsibilities
• Perform accurate order picking and packing of medical and electrical devices based on customer requirements.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory, ensuring real-time data accuracy within the warehouse management system.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing packages for delivery to hospitals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct inventory counts and stock replenishment as required to support the flow of goods.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing steel-toe safety shoes at all times while on the floor.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor to support team goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot any discrepancies in orders or inventory levels.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for order picking and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail, specifically when handling sensitive medical devices and verifying part numbers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy standards.
• Good communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout the shift as part of standard warehouse activities.
• Strong organizational skills to keep track of shipments and inventory placement. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team unit.
• Forklift operation experience is considered a strong asset, though not mandatory.
