Work Model: On-site (5 days/week for the first 90 days; hybrid eligibility thereafter)

Pay Rate: $31.66 / hour

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Execute accurate daily money movements, securities transfers, and client account updates in adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Data Verification & Documentation: Thoroughly review and validate transaction documentation, security pricing, and client holdings across multiple internal software applications.
Reporting & Spreadsheet Management: Run daily Microsoft Excel spreadsheets utilizing existing macros to process transaction data efficiently.
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate professionally with internal partners (financial advisors) and external entities (mutual fund companies, other financial institutions) to resolve transaction discrepancies.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Maintain strict adherence to internal regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) frameworks, Bank Code of Conduct, and confidentiality guidelines.
Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest practical solutions to enhance workflow quality and productivity.
Qualifications
Education: Undergraduate degree or post-secondary college diploma preferred.
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in banking, wealth operations, financial transaction processing, or a related back-office financial environment.
Product Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of investment products, including stocks, mutual funds, and securities.
Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must be comfortable navigating and running existing macros). Comfort utilizing multiple internal systems concurrently.
Attention to Detail: Proven track record of high precision and zero-error execution in compliance-heavy, high-risk environments.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external stakeholder interaction.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience in wealth operations or securities transfers within a major Canadian bank.
Critical Success Factors
Ability to stay focused and maintain extreme accuracy while executing repetitive, multi-step processes under seasonal volume deadlines.
High degree of personal accountability and a solid understanding of the financial/compliance impacts of processing errors.
Strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
