What you need to know:
Position: Permanent
Role: Senior Fabricator/Welder
Schedules Available: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm OR Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am
Location: Mission, BC
Payrate: $30-$35/hr
*Must be legally permitted to work fulltime in BC, Canada*
* Must have a class 5 drivers license - location is not transit accessible*

Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings
* Fabricating, fitting, and welding steel components in various positions
* Using shop equipment including Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Metal-Cored Arc Welding (MCAW)
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
* Ability to read, understand, and follow working drawings
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fabrication/welding
* Level 4-5 Fabricator/Welder with proven experience fitting and welding steel components in various positions with GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW
* Commitment to working safely and accurately while following a strict production schedule
* Ability to work as part of a team but also independently when required
* Excellent attention to detail
* Personal small rolling toolbox with basic hand tools
* Eagerness to learn, develop and grow in all areas of welding and fabrication
* Ability to stand, kneel, lift, and bend on a regular basis
