- Equipment: Outdoor Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials in an outdoor yard environment.
- Staging, organizing, and inventorying heavy materials across the yard.
- Loading and unloading flatbeds, trailers, and transport vehicles.
- Performing daily pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized yard area while following all site safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Ticket: Must possess a valid, active certification/ticket for Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklifts.
- Personal Transportation: A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required (public transit options are extremely limited in this industrial zone).
- Yard Experience: Previous experience operating a forklift outdoors in yard conditions (paved and unpaved surfaces).
- Physical Readiness: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs when required.
- Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.
