Payroll Specialist -Randstad Canada, Head office

Location: Ville-Saint-Laurent (Corporate office in Place-Vertu commercial center)

A day in the life of a Payroll Specialist:
•The Payroll Specialist ensures the timeliness, correctness and completeness of the external payroll process for all external personnel of Randstad Interim (>8000 employees).
•He is responsible for all payroll related duties as well as the answering of inquiries for our weekly payroll.
•Producing and submitting payroll-related tax information & remittances (DAS.)
•Communication with the consultants, management
•Monthly, quarterly and reporting
•Work with I.T. on system upgrades, automation of manual processes as well as continuous improvements and efficiencies

What we are looking for:
•Over 3 years demonstrated experience in full cycle payroll (salary & hourly)
•Experience on an ERP system processing payroll of >8000 employees
•Experience processing multi province payroll (including Quebec)
•Education and experience with Accounting policies
•CPA certification
•Expert knowledge of JD Edwards (asset), Excel
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
•Process oriented and analytical
•Superb communication skills, both written and oral
•Bilingual French and English
