Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Capture, analyze, and document business needs in direct alignment with key stakeholders and architectural principles.
Business Process Engineering: Model and refine operational processes adhering to BPMN standards, creating robust supporting documentation.
Agile Collaboration & Backlog Ownership: Assist with product backlog refinement, task estimation, and user story definitions, occasionally fulfilling Product Owner proxy or quality oversight roles.
Quality Assurance & Acceptance Testing: Formulate UAT strategies, write acceptance test scenarios, execute functional validations, and support production deployments.
Change Management & Knowledge Transfer: Develop training materials and standard operating procedures, support organizational readiness during implementation, and ensure continuous knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Strong proficiency in business process modeling (BPMN standards) and functional documentation writing.
Proven track record in defining user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies and test cases.
Exceptional analytical, synthesis, and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
Ability to guide stakeholders through organizational change and transition management.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
