Responsibilities
Advise and support partners in defining objectives, challenges, directions, and project scope.
Design and structure a business architecture tailored to the sector’s needs.
Create and update the sector’s business architectures.
Assess project impacts, timelines, and scope.
Perform initial business analyses and estimates.
Participate in the improvement and optimization of the operating model and business processes.
Ensure alignment of target processes with business architecture guidelines.
Develop transition plans aligned with the sector’s objectives within the vice-presidency’s project portfolio.
Validate the feasibility of sector orientations and their consistency with the company’s overall directions.
Oversee the development of business analysis files by colleagues.
Contribute to the development of transformation roadmaps and the prioritization of tactical initiatives.
Establish and maintain tactical documentation relevant to the business sector.
Provide recommendations and action plans for content-related issues.
Facilitate the dissemination and understanding of information among project teams within the vice-presidency.
Act as a mentor to business analysts working on projects.
Manage relationships with the various partners involved in the files.
Contribute to monitoring new tools and technologies.
Work closely with IT and systems teams to effectively coordinate needs and ensure optimal information sharing.
Participate in the evolution of the business architecture advisor role within the vice-presidency.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and team spirit.
Ability to identify key elements and establish priorities.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and ease in navigating ambiguous environments.
Quick to learn and adopt new technologies.
Experience and knowledge in the insurance and financial services sectors.
Strong command of SAFe, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
At least ten (10) years of experience in business architecture and/or domain expertise.
University degree in accounting, business administration, information systems, or finance.
Recognized accounting designation (an asset).
Knowledge of the Oracle accounting module.
Understanding of information technologies (an asset).
Familiarity with banking and actuarial tools (a strong asset).
Knowledge of business architecture best practices (e.g., BIZBOK, BPMN, BABOK, AABA, CBAP, or CCBA certifications), considered a valuable asset.
