Role Overview
As the Process & Digital Thread Lead, you will play a pivotal role in a major digital transformation program, driving alignment between business processes and a future-state PLM solution. You will sit at the crossroads of process definition and data flow governance, ensuring that Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Use Case Leads are supported in designing future-ready "Ways of Working."
The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of analytical depth and the ability to influence global stakeholders, ensuring that the "Digital Thread"—the seamless flow of data—is maintained across all functional silos.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze & Interpret: Deep dive into current "As-Is" workflows and translate them into "To-Be" processes within a modernized PLM landscape.
- Bridge the Gap: Perform detailed difference analysis to identify inefficiencies and ensure the new solution meets complex Business Unit requirements.
- Champion Connectivity: Act as the custodian of the end-to-end information model, preventing data silos and ensuring consistent data flows across the enterprise.
- Architectural Insight: Help local project teams understand the "why" behind technical choices, providing scenario analysis and architectural recommendations.
- Enable Change: Support change impact analysis to ensure global teams successfully adopt new tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities
- Future Process Design: Define BU requirements, identify process gaps, and support the development of future-state workflows.
- Digital Thread Ownership: Maintain Product Data Flow documentation and ensure visibility of information flows throughout the program lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Connect SMEs and Process Use Case Leads to align expectations and technical outcomes.
- Tool Integration: Serve as the connective layer between the core PLM system (Teamcenter) and other relevant enterprise tools.
- Governance & Standards: Ensure the availability of standardized processes and metrics, utilizing maturity models to drive excellence.
Qualifications
- PLM Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes and experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
- Process Mastery: Demonstrated ability to map, analyze, and redesign complex business processes (Experience with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus).
- Enterprise Architecture: Experience handling complex product data flows or digital thread initiatives.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to break down technical topics and provide structured, logical solutions.
- Collaborative Influence: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Industry Background: Experience in large-scale transformation programs within Engineering, Manufacturing, or Configuration Management.
