Responsibilities
Strategic Auditing: Conduct deep-dive technical and content audits of web properties to uncover untapped organic growth potential.
Holistic Strategy Design: Architect bespoke SEO roadmaps that align with complex market trends and competitive landscapes in Canada.
Performance Engineering: Execute comprehensive keyword research and content optimization strategies to dominate search engine results pages (SERPs).
Data Interpretation: Monitor and decode complex data sets using advanced analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
Knowledge Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring internal stakeholders and simplifying technical SEO concepts for executive-level presentations.
Algorithmic Vigilance: Stay ahead of search engine updates and industry shifts to ensure long-term ranking resilience.
Qualifications
Extensive Expertise: A minimum of 10 years of dedicated SEO experience (Agency or Consulting background).
Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the French language is mandatory. Proficiency in English is considered a professional asset but is not the primary requirement for this mandate.
Local Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Canadian digital landscape.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
