Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Controller will be responsible for:
•Preparing financial statements for the two entities within the group
•Managing the full accounting cycle and month-end processes
•Performing intercompany reconciliations
•Participating in the budgeting process and conducting variance analysis
•Conducting cost analysis and inventory costing
•Supervising the accounting team
•Implementing and monitoring internal controls
•Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
•Producing management reports for senior leadership
•Preparing the year-end audit file
•Contributing to continuous improvement of processes, ERP systems, and analytical tools
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
•CPA designation (strong asset)
•Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 in the manufacturing sector
•Bilingual (French and English), with international exposure
•Experience with inventory management and costing (highly valued)
•Strong proficiency in Excel
