Responsibilities
Design technical solutions to support teams responsible for implementing data solutions;
Configure software tools and components, as well as development and continuous deployment environments (DevOps), to optimize the efficiency of teams implementing data solutions;
Facilitate the operationalization and deployment of data and artificial intelligence solutions, including business intelligence solutions (warehouses, counters, etc.) and data science solutions (data lakes, continuous data streams, machine learning platforms, etc.);
Diagnose and provide recommendations, solutions, or technical improvements to ensure the stability of applications/systems and facilitate their evolution while reducing maintenance costs;
Provide support for the operation of implemented technical solutions, including monitoring platforms and tools, platform availability, and monitoring deployed analytical solutions;
Collaborate with various decision-making bodies, such as enterprise architecture, centers of excellence, security, and infrastructure teams, etc.;
Manage communication with vendors to resolve software operational issues, version changes, and other relevant topics, as needed.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in information technology, with a minimum of 5 years in data design and artificial intelligence.
Relevant experience in designing solutions in the areas of data processing, business intelligence, data analytics, and generative data intelligence.
Proficiency in techniques, frameworks, and methodologies specific to the field of expertise (SAFe, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.).
Excellent communicator, structured, and skilled in simplifying technical concepts, with a strong ability to synthesize information and work effectively in a team.
Natural leader with the ability to influence and guide others, particularly within solution delivery teams and collaborators from various business sectors.
Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
Knowledge of the insurance industry and financial services (an asset).
Excellent skills in influencing stakeholders and making strategic recommendations.
Experience in Data and Artificial Intelligence Solution Ecosystems, including:
- Data transformation and pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Spark, Databricks, etc.).
- Data storage tools (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, etc.).
- Data science tools (e.g., Azure ML, R, Python, etc.).
- Management tools for LLM and SLM models and generative AI (e.g., Azure Foundry, Snowflake Cortex - Generative AI, etc.).
