Health and Safety Advisor – Construction Site
Location: Mont St-Hilaire or Rivière des Prairies
You're at the heart of the action on the construction site. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you prevent accidents, spot risks before they become problems, and make sure everyone knows how to work safely. You're a key partner for employers, teams, and workers alike.

Responsibilities
- Identify potential hazards on the construction site and assess associated risks
- Develop, implement, and update prevention programs
- Train and raise awareness among workers about safety rules and the use of PPE
- Advise employers on measures to ensure a safe working - environment
- Conduct investigations in the event of an accident or incident and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate safety procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the drafting and distribution of site-specific safety instructions
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with current standards
- Participate in site meetings and safety committees
- Monitor job sites and submit daily reports to head office
- Health & Safety standards: complete reports required by clients
Qualifications
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Valid ASP card
- Relevant experience on construction sites (a strong asset)
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations (CNESST, etc.)
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Strong analytical skills and keen observation
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-risk situations
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and professionalism
- Bilingual (English/French), as the role involves collaboration with teams in other provinces and the United States
