Our client in the industrial equipment in Dorval is currently looking for a Major Bid Coordinator is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and management of bids for projects over $100,000. In close collaboration with the sales team, this person plays a key role in developing winning strategies to maximize the chances of success in securing contracts.

Responsibilities
- Analyze tenders and project documents to extract technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare complete, accurate, and competitive bids within the given deadlines.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to define the bid strategy (pricing, differentiators,
deadlines, etc.).
- Coordinate exchanges with suppliers to obtain the best conditions (prices, deadlines, specifications).
This person will work across departments (e.g., sales, legal, finance, and operations) to gather and organize content for high-value tenders.
- Follow up on submitted bids and participate in negotiations if necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of submitted projects, results, and lessons learned.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of bidding processes.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and French) (Spoken/Written)
- Must have experience in administration and coordination with various departments.
- Being able to multitask in a fast environment
- Good attitude, open minded, team spirit and communication
- Relevant experience in a similar role (bidding, estimating, project coordination).
- Knowledge of the electrical distribution sector or technical products (an asset).
- Excellent communication, analysis, and priority management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management
