The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing samples to include sorting, and opening samples to designated sample locations in an office environment.
Location: Mississauga ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
•Partner with Loss Prevention team to identify and ensure compliance with any LP processes, communicate samples leaving home office or returning, for visibility and liability purposes i.e., when donating to charity, and sending samples to marketing showroom.
•Must be able to safely move up to 100 lbs. i.e., Boxes/bins of samples, equipment/fixtures for meetings while also adhering to workplace health and safety rules and regulations.
•Participate in special projects as assigned.
•Complete other duties as assigned.
Duties:

•Keep track of all samples arriving through the Samples Support inbox, SC logic scanning software, and maintain consistent communication with merchants as they arrive and need to be reviewed.
•Execute shipment of samples to GBO, vendors, and marketing showroom for all departments, and coordinate the return of samples to Home office.
•Execute the movement of samples to meeting spaces for style outs, and strategy/vision meetings and other special events and walk-throughs (this occurs 8-12 times per year, for each department).
•Partner with merchants for determining marketing samples and ensure all marketing samples are set for marketing to select from, labelled by department. These occur quarterly for each department.
•Execute movement of fixtures, meeting room set ups in merchant floor spaces for upcoming meetings. Retrieve all fixtures and re-set the room for the next meeting and assist in putting samples back to storage areas, or ship to vendors/GBO.
•Consistently provide timely and professional communication to the merchants, senior merchant group and other business partners.
•Monitor the samples areas to ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
•Ensure samples areas are kept neat and tidy, assist merchant with organization of their designated spaces.
•Initiate communication with merchant when samples space is reaching capacity, to engage in purge, and execute purge to maintain the relief of space.
•Communicate purging schedules and execute purges with merchants to ensure proper flow of samples out of the office, to ensure proper space allocated for newness each quarter.
•Responsible for pack up of commodities and hand off to charity specialist, to ensure purged samples are donated to our charitable partners.
•Communicate and plan accordingly with EA's, MA's and merchants for upcoming meetings to ensure proper distribution of supplies and fixtures.

Qualifications
•Post-Secondary Education, or equivalent work experience.
•Professional office experience.
•Flexibility and adaptability working in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Customer service skills when dealing with internal and external parties, including responding to inquiries efficiently and effectively.
•Ability to develop and build relationships with internal partners and influence others.
•Attention to detail and follow through skills.
•Good organizational skills including time management.
•Self-motivated and independent; ability to work with minimal supervision.
