Reporting to the Director of Operations – Service Centres, the incumbent's primary responsibility is to manage all operations of the health centre and services, as well as the day and night shelters. They support their team by ensuring operations are optimized to meet client needs in line with the strategic plan.

Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
• Provide support, guidance, and direction to all employees under his/her direct supervision;
• Oversee the smooth running of operations in the centers and various departments and monitor compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures to be followed by employees under his/her supervision;
• Manage, develop, and supervise resources;
• Manage operations in line with the objectives of the strategic plan and to meet customer needs;
• Maintain the operations budget and ensure that all guidelines are followed;
• Develop objectives and plans to prioritize, organize, and complete work by his/her teams;
• Establish and plan employee work schedules to ensure that labor needs are met;
• Ensure that employees under his/her direct supervision complete their daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic tasks and responsibilities;
• Act as a resource person for employees under his/her direct supervision by implementing monitoring tools with them to keep them informed;
• Collaborate on recruitment initiatives for his/her team;
• Evaluate supervisors and contribute to the evaluation of employees in different departments;
• Reports and makes suggestions on the team's training needs to their immediate superior and human resources;
• Determines actions to be taken to develop internal talent and staff training with, among others, human resources;
• Effectively supports their supervisors in managing employee-related issues such as absence management, non-compliance with procedures, disciplinary measures, performance, etc.;
• Coordinates training schedules, meetings, and development sessions for employees at the service points under their supervision;
• Updates the internal procedures bible for the various programs, services, and activities in collaboration with their management team;
• Responsible for managing monthly staff meetings by providing feedback and follow-up on various questions or issues raised to their director;
• Responsible for the implementation of certain special projects;
• Participates in the preparation of status reports for the programs and activities under their supervision;
• Makes operational decisions regarding programs, activities and services and participates in their launch;
• Ensures meticulous record-keeping standards are met, including statistics and their analysis;
• Makes recommendations regarding planning, structure, and needs across its entire service offering.
Qualifications
To be effective in this role, you would have the following qualifications:
To be effective in this role, you would have the following qualifications:
• A university degree and/or any other related discipline, or a combination of equivalent training and experience;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a constantly evolving environment;
• Knowledge of the intervention sector and community organizations, the healthcare network, and/or a similar clientele is an asset;
• Initiative, empathy, and the ability to adapt to complex situations requiring analysis and case management;
• Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively;
• Strong ability to collaborate with both those under your responsibility and colleagues;
• Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively;
• Ability to successfully complete a project from start to finish while demonstrating a sound work methodology;
• Be results-oriented and process-oriented, with clear expectations with your work team;
• Have a positive and respectful attitude;
• Ability to demonstrate discernment and rigor in carrying out assigned tasks;
• Bilingualism (French and English).
