Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager - Video Production at this Digital Media leader in Montreal;
End-to-End Production Logistics:
Manage the complete production lifecycle for video content across multiple platforms, strictly from an operational and logistical standpoint.
Shoot Coordination:
Orchestrate comprehensive logistics for local shoots and occasionally shoots in the USA (e.g., managing permits, local crews, and equipment rentals).
Production Management:
Coordinate the production chain from pre-production through post-production, ensuring smooth set operations, proper scheduling, and resource availability.
Account & Client Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, managing client relationships, expectations, and providing regular project status updates.
Resource & Talent Coordination:
Supervise and coordinate technical crews, freelancers, and production staff within a flexible or coworking environment.
Budget & Timeline Control:
Enforce strict budget controls, track production expenses, and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery without financial overruns.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Senior Project Manager - Video Production at this Digital Media leader in Montreal;
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project management specifically within video or media production environments.
Proven track record of managing complex shoot logistics, including cross-border operations (USA).
Exceptional organizational and budgeting skills, with a strong focus on resource allocation and timeline management (strictly non-creative execution).
Strong client-facing skills with experience managing large enterprise accounts and external vendors.
Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required to collaborate with local crews and coordinate international logistics.
