Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Senior Digital Project Manager at this Digital Media leader in Montreal;
Digital Project Lifecycle:
Direct the complete lifecycle of client web projects, including complex websites, internal platforms, and applications.
Resource Allocation:
Plan, allocate, and optimize the workload for cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, and QA specialists.
Sprint & Task Management:
Break down project functionalities into concrete deliverables, structure sprints, and assign execution tickets (e.g., Jira, Asana).
Budget & Financial Tracking:
Strictly control the consumption of billable hours, monitor the financial progress of projects, and proactively prevent cost overruns.
Client Advisory & Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact, translating business needs into technical requirements and effectively managing client expectations.
Risk Mitigation:
Proactively identify technical blockers, manage project scope, and adjust priorities swiftly in response to unforeseen challenges.
Quality Assurance & Delivery:
Organize testing phases (UAT, functional testing) and validate overall compliance before production deployment.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Senior Digital Project Manager at this Digital Media leader in Montreal;
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Digital Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in digital project management, preferably within an agency or digital media environment.
Strong proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
Solid understanding of web development lifecycles, UX/UI principles, and Quality Assurance processes.
Excellent financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to track project budgets, scope, and team utilization hours rigorously.
Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required to bridge the gap between technical teams and enterprise clients.
