Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Senior System Administrator at this leading Professional Association in Anjou ;
Manage the environments under his/her responsibility to ensure the availability, reliability, security and integrity of systems, as well as their evolution and optimization;
Manage IT projects under his/her responsibility according to quality, cost and deadline criteria;
Manage, update and evolve the wired and wireless network infrastructure, servers/storage and IT assets;
Implement networking at all APCHQ sites (documentation, installation and maintenance of networking)
Manage and update the Hyper-V virtualization environment;
Implement the Microsoft Teams telephone solution
Maintain and improve the data backup strategy;
Manage the Microsoft 365 environment;
Develop and implement a plan to migrate local infrastructures to a dematerialized infranuagic management system.
Participate in strengthening cybersecurity measures;
Work jointly with external consulting services to implement IT best practices.
Provide level 2 support and assist the user support team in resolving problems.
Transfer knowledge of systems and equipment to the entire IT team and act as a resource person for IT team members;
Draft, document, update and disseminate technical documentation, procedures and policies (inform of technological changes implemented);
Make recommendations on technological orientations and choices to management;
Monitor technological developments;
Perform, as required, any other task of a similar nature or of a general nature related to the job, as requested by his/her superior.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Senior System Administrator at this leading Professional Association in Anjou ;
College diploma (DEC) in computer science or equivalent experience;
Six (6) to nine (9) years' relevant experience, including at least two (2) years in server and network architecture management and optimization;
Three (3) years' experience in project management on technical issues;
Knowledge of ITIL and Agile practices and methodologies;
Practical knowledge of mass storage (SAN-AZURE);
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (an asset);
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification (an asset);
Experience in managing, maintaining and resolving problems on an IT estate;
