Responsibilities
Low Code Development & Automation: Design, develop, test, and deploy complex automated workflows and custom applications primarily utilizing Power Automate and Power Apps. Build and deploy robust analytical models and decision-support solutions tailored to group insurance and savings needs.
Data Integration & Collaborative Analytics: Ensure seamless technical integration of Power Platform solutions with existing corporate data warehouses and target cloud data environments (Snowflake, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric). Collaborate closely with Data Analysts and Product Owners (POs) to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Mentorship & Continuous Improvement: Operate efficiently within multidisciplinary teams using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) frameworks and DevOps practices. Create clear technical documentation and act as a subject matter expert to coach and train internal business users.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Power Platform Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience developing business automation workflows with Power Automate and building tailored applications with Power Apps.
Skills: Significant experience developing data-driven, decision-support solutions. Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Language Proficiency: Intermediate English communication skills (written and spoken) required for technical documentation and weekly collaboration with internal partners across Canada.
Preferred Assets: Proficiency with Power BI, experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (AI Builder, Copilot Studio), familiarity with .NET / Azure environment, and prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
