Responsibilities
At the heart of a high-tech facility, you will ensure compliance and efficiency throughout the supply chain:
Regulatory Compliance: Handle pharmaceutical and radioactive products in strict accordance with current Canadian regulatory standards.
Shipping Coordination: Oversee dock activities and strategically coordinate delivery timelines to ensure time-sensitive shipments move efficiently.
SOP Management: Guarantee that all products covered by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are handled correctly and within required timeframes.
Inventory Control: Manage the distribution center’s inventory, ensure optimal storage conditions for specialized products, and submit reports on time.
Documentation: Document work instructions as required to maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of warehouse activities.
Actively collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal/external teams, suppliers, and carriers to maintain service excellence.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in warehouse operations (picking, receiving, packing, and transportation). Experience in a highly regulated environment (pharmaceutical or medical imaging industry) is a major asset.
Autonomy & Organization: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multitask, and effectively prioritize tasks.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), basic comfort using an ERP system, and knowledge of GMP (an asset).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
