Responsibilities
- Specialized Platform Testing: Lead testing efforts for Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Power BI, ensuring that low-code configurations meet business logic requirements.
- API Validation: Perform rigorous API testing to validate endpoints, ensuring data accuracy and secure communication between integrated systems.
- End-to-End Integration: Validate how diverse systems and components interact, ensuring seamless data flow across the entire architectural stack.
- Test Management: Leverage Azure DevOps for comprehensive test case management, bug tracking, and alignment with user stories.
- Accessibility Compliance: Conduct specialized AODA testing using industry-standard tools like NVDA, WAVE, and Accessibility Insights for Web to ensure inclusive digital experiences.
- Performance & Security: Monitor system performance and uncover potential vulnerabilities to ensure data and resources are protected from unauthorized access.
- Leadership & UAT: Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to secure stakeholder sign-offs; coach junior team members in automating test cases for future transitions.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborating with Product Owners and developers to clarify acceptance criteria and refine user stories.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Stack Expertise: (Must Have) Proven experience testing Power Platform, Power BI, and Dynamics 365.
- Modern QA Tooling: (Must Have) Advanced proficiency in Azure DevOps for defect management and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- QA Seniority: Extensive experience in planning and implementing testing efforts for both large GUI and non-GUI environments.
- SDLC & ITIL Knowledge: Deep understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and familiarity with ITIL processes for Change and Release Management.
- Data Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL and other query languages for data retrieval and backend validation.
- Accessibility Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and WCAG guidelines.
- Automation: Experience coding automated test scripts to produce scalable, reusable test cases for COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) applications.
