Responsibilities
• Safely navigate tight warehouse aisles and high racks using a Reach truck to transport furniture components and raw materials.
• Load and unload incoming freight shipments and organize inventory within the designated manufacturing storage zones.
• Move heavy bundles of raw manufacturing supplies to specific assembly lines to keep production flowing efficiently.
• Perform routine daily safety inspections on the material handling equipment and log pre-operation checkpoints.
• Pick, stage, and prepare completed furniture pieces and large orders for outbound shipping and transportation.
• Keep the warehouse environment, staging zones, and manufacturing floors clean, organized, and clear of hazards.
• Work collaboratively with inventory control teams to perform routine cycle counts and ensure accurate digital stock tracking.
Qualifications
• Must possess a valid, current external Reach Operator license or forklift operator certification from a recognized training provider.
• Prior experience operating a reach truck or material handling equipment within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial warehouse setting.
• Reliable transportation to the industrial sector of Kitchener, Ontario, ensuring consistent arrival ahead of the 7:00 AM shift start.
• Ability to provide professional references verifying past warehouse performance, equipment safety records, and reliable attendance.
