Responsibilities
Ensure the timely verification and processing of payroll for customers of various levels of complexity;
Ensure rigorous follow-up of each customer's payroll schedule according to their respective pay frequency;
Ensure the updating of data in the payroll system, i.e.: hiring, group insurance enrolment, RRSPs, salary changes, departures, PSC disability, etc;
Respond to various customer requests with professionalism and courtesy;
Follow-up on vacation, personal, sickness and other bank accounts;
Execute legal notices of wage garnishment, support orders or any other requests;
Produce records of employment and payroll reports;
Prepare year-end processing and produce tax slips and all year-end summaries and/or reports (full AF cycle);
Perform other related tasks.
Qualifications
DEC in accounting;
CPA accreditation (an asset);
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience;
Knowledge of Desjardins, Nethris and Deluxe payroll software;
Good knowledge of payroll and payroll compliance;
Knowledge of Great Plan software (an asset);
Knowledge of basic accounting (an asset);
Good knowledge of Office 365 Suite;
Fluently bilingual (French, English).
