Responsibilities
Software Engineering (C#): Architect and develop robust internal APIs and tools using .NET to automate security governance and standardize development workflows across the organization.
AI & Copilot Innovation: Program specialized extensions and AI agents (utilizing MCP and custom skills) for GitHub Copilot to proactively assist development teams in writing secure code.
Quality Automation: Create intelligent scripts (PowerShell) and integrate sophisticated tools (Sonar, Renovate) to automate dependency management and static code analysis.
CI/CD Modernization: Engineer resilient deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, defining secure infrastructure through Terraform or Bicep.
Technical Mentorship: Provide expert-level guidance to various business units to resolve complex software security challenges and optimize system performance (Dynatrace/AppInsights).
Qualifications
Expert Programming: Advanced proficiency in C# (.NET Core) is the top priority, complemented by strong PowerShell scripting skills.
DevSecOps Mastery: Proven experience with security and quality tooling such as Sonar, Snyk, Renovate, or Dependabot.
Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and the GitHub Copilot ecosystem.
Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Azure services (Entra ID, App Service) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
Security Management: Proficiency in managing secrets using Hashicorp Vault or Azure Key Vault.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in French is mandatory. Intermediate proficiency in English is required.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written).
