As a Forklift Operator, you will join a supportive team environment operating electric counterbalance forklift equipment. This day-shift opportunity offers a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing exceptional work-life balance along with a competitive pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on your prior experience. No external certification is necessary, as internal re-certification and site-specific training are fully provided.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a counterbalance electric forklift to move, stack, stage, and retrieve goods and raw materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently while verifying shipment accuracy against paperwork and shipping documents.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required within food grade warehousing.
• Conduct daily pre-operational equipment inspections on the electric forklift to ensure safe functioning.
• Perform general material handling and warehouse duties, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and inventory organization.
• Pick orders accurately and prepare goods for transport in compliance with client specifications.
• Support overall warehouse productivity and efficiency while maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a counterbalance electric forklift in a warehouse environment
• Prior experience in food grade warehousing, food manufacturing, or regulated storage environments is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work the full-time day shift schedule reliably from Monday through Friday in Kitchener.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically and perform active warehouse duties.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
