the implementation of new technologies.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, ANSI/TIA-942 or third-party
Data Center certifications, related field or equivalent 3 to 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience working as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Data Center hardware, including servers, networking devices, and storage systems.
• Experience with Data Center operations, including power and cooling management, environmental monitoring,
and physical security.
• Familiarity with Data Center management tools and software, such as monitoring and inventory management
systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours.
• Flexibility to travel between client sites within the GTA.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day operational tasks in the Data Center, including monitoring system performance, responding to
alerts, and troubleshooting issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, networking equipment, and storage systems using established
procedures.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on Data Center equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Assist in the implementation of new hardware, software, and technologies in the Data Center environment and IT
rooms.
• Monitor and manage Data Center power and cooling systems to maintain optimal operating conditions.
• Create, maintain and update accurate documentation of Data Center assets, configurations, standards and
procedures and (SOPs/MOPs).
• Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors and contractors to support Data Center-related projects and initiatives
and operations.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Provide technical support and assistance to other team members and end-users as needed.
• Respond and if required participate in Data Center and IT infrastructure emergencies outside of regular business
hours.
• Foster strong working relationships with various internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the successful
delivery of projects.
• Perform tasks as per established safety guidelines, procedures and policies
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in an enterprise Data Center environment.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for Data Center design, operation, and management.
• ANSI/TIA-942 or third-party Data Center certifications.
