In this pivotal role, you will take charge of our Machining Tool Crib and execute essential minor maintenance on shop machinery.

Responsibilities
Tool Crib Management: Issue, receive, track, and organize specialized machining tooling, components, and fixtures.
Inventory & Record Accuracy: Uphold flawless documentation—both digital and paper-based—concerning tool checkout history, current stock quantities, and vital machinery calibration schedules.
Proactive Machine Upkeep: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting fixes across various shop machinery. This includes fine-tuning drill fixtures, resolving basic mechanical faults, and conducting routine operational servicing.
Workflow Optimization: Guarantee that the tool crib operates as a beacon of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency, thereby drastically reducing any operational delays for our machinists.
Qualifications
Mechanical or Millwright Expertise: This role is for a driven 1st- or 2nd-year Millwright apprentice looking for a stable, localized shop role, or a mechanically savvy professional with a wealth of hands-on repair experience. Flexibility is key; you must be prepared to tackle various shop duties, including sweeping and general tidying during quieter periods.
Strong Documentation Skills: Demonstrated experience handling inventory tracking, routine data entry, and maintaining highly accurate traceability logs.
Proactive & Resourceful Attitude: We need a highly reliable, self-motivated professional who operates with a clear head. You should excel at rapid, on-the-spot problem-solving and be ready to claim full responsibility for the tool room's daily success.
Commuting Reliability: Given our facility's location in Nisku and the non-negotiable 6:00 AM morning launch, possessing your own dependable vehicle and a flawless attendance record is absolutely mandatory.
