Established in 2001, our company has grown into a well-rooted, 10-person 3PL operation (4 Sales, 4 Dispatch, 2 Accounting). We foster a casual, supportive, and non-micromanaged environment where positive energy and strong teamwork matter. Competing successfully in the North American freight space, we pride ourselves on building long-term relationships—both with our core network of reliable "mom-and-pop" carriers and our dedicated internal team.
...
We are expanding our team and looking for a collaborative Account Manager who can step in, bring their expertise, and thrive with full operational backing.
Advantages
Work-Life Balance & Hybrid Setup: Full Work-From-Home setup (laptop and cell phone provided) with only 1 day a week required in the Chabanel office.
Supportive Environment: Direct support from leadership with zero micromanagement; high emphasis on helping you succeed as long as you put in the effort.
Group Insurance: Medical and health coverage with 50% paid by the employer.
Perks & Expenses: Fully paid office parking, company-provided tech, and regular team events.
Tailored Compensation: Custom salary vs. commission structure open to negotiation based on your experience and book of business.
Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Account Management: Prospect, onboard, and manage your own clients while executing their daily shipping needs across all North American lanes.
Operations & Freight Coordination: Handle your own load bookings, rate negotiations with carriers, track-and-trace, and issue resolution.
Carrier Sourcing: Leverage our trusted network of core carrier partners while utilizing Loadlink and DAT for additional capacity.
Systems & Routing: Utilize internal tools (Wolfbyte software for historical pricing, carrier tracking, and load history; PC Miler for routing/distance).
Cross-Equipment Coverage: Oversee freight moves across all trailer types (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, LTL, FTL, Specialized).
Qualifications
Experience: Background in 3PL freight brokerage, freight sales, or account management.
Book of Business: A book of business is preferred (does not need to be massive—we value quality relationships and strong cultural fit above all).
Operational Capability: Comfortable managing both the sales side and the operational details (booking, carrier negotiations, problem-solving).
Personality & Culture Fit: Upbeat, self-motivated, honest, and collaborative. We value team members who bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Summary
If you are looking to escape high-pressure, micromanaged brokerage environments and want to join a tight-knit, easygoing team where your contribution is directly supported, submit your resume today.
