Responsibilities
•Process mutual fund trades, settlements, and money movements, including FundSERV transactions.
•Investigate, reconcile, and resolve complex transaction breaks and discrepancies in a timely manner.
•Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel tools and macros to support and streamline daily operational workflows.
•Provide professional internal customer service and respond promptly to phone and email inquiries.
•Maintain strict adherence to operational controls, internal compliance standards, and regulatory procedures.
•Participate in brief daily team huddles (15 minutes) to align on daily metrics, deliverables, and priorities.
Qualifications
•Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
•Experience: Approximately 5 years of overall financial or accounting experience (banking, financial services, or mutual funds background strongly preferred).
•Technical Skills:
oAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and macros).
oHigh tech-savviness with a demonstrated ability to learn proprietary internal systems quickly.
oStrong proficiency in the broader Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Outlook).
•Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with FundSERV and trade settlements is considered a strong asset.
•Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, strong accuracy in a high-compliance setting, and a quick-learning mindset.
