Responsibilities
As an Immigration Administrative Assistant specializing in Express Entry, your work will be essential to the success of our clients' files. Under the lawyer's supervision, you will have the following missions:
You will manage permanent residency files via Express Entry from A to Z (CEC, skilled workers, skilled trades).
You will ensure constant monitoring of IRCC news and invitation rounds.
You will prepare forms and gather supporting documents with surgical precision.
You will act as a bilingual point of contact for a demanding international clientele.
You will support the daily administrative management of the firm in Montreal.
You will guarantee strict confidentiality for all processed files.
Qualifications
To shine in this Immigration Administrative Assistant role, you must meet the following criteria:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Canadian immigration, specifically with Express Entry.
Bilingualism: Perfect command of French and English, both oral and written (mandatory).
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of permanent residency programs (Federal and ideally Quebec/Provinces).
Skills: Strong writing skills and the ability to manage a sustained workload.
Attitude: Absolute discretion, proactivity, and great interpersonal skills.
Our Client operates across Canada, and globally/internationally in the United States and other countries. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
Communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English.
