Our client, a prominent financial Crown Corporation based in Ottawa, is seeking a Senior Agile Project Manager to lead hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery planning and execution across key technology initiatives. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional business, technology, and vendor teams to translate annual objectives and OKRs into tactical quarterly delivery plans. You will oversee execution, proactively remove delivery impediments, and maintain transparent governance for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, daily stand-ups) and facilitate annual/quarterly OKR planning sessions.
- Maintain comprehensive delivery plans, track cross-team dependencies, monitor milestones, and deliver clear status reporting.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and resource constraints, escalating effectively to minimize delivery impacts.
- Build strong relationships across business units, IT teams, external vendors, and executive leadership to ensure clear visibility into priorities and decisions.
- Promote delivery best practices, optimize operational workflows, and empower teams to take ownership of delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience leading Agile/Waterfall technology delivery initiatives for complex software projects or product teams.
- Hands-on experience facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
- Experience developing delivery roadmaps, coordinating dependencies, and tracking progress across multi-team ecosystems.
- Proven experience aligning cross-functional business and technical stakeholders around strategic objectives.
Asset Qualifications:
- Recognized certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or DASSM.
- Domain experience within the financial services, banking, or insurance sectors.
- Hands-on experience using tooling such as Azure DevOps, Planview, and Mural.
